Koppenhaver & Associates, PC is seeking an experienced tax reviewer/preparer to join our team. Review experience and/or CPA licensure is a plus but is not required. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a detail and deadline-oriented environment, excellent prioritization skills, and will be a team-player interested in working within a small office environment.  Candidates interested in seasonal-only work will also be considered. 

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Analysis of client records and data for preparation of personal and business income tax returns
• Preparation of periodic reports for internal purposes, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Proficiency in excel and other software required to analyze data for comparative analysis of trends
• Ability to interpret income tax research and provide planning for various tax transactions affecting individuals and businesses
• Analyze client accounting policies and processes for recommendations regarding improvements
• Ability to organize digital and physical client financial records and documents
• Attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary for internal presentations and providing client information is required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required
