We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Construction Foreman to lead and oversee all on-site aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The Foreman will be responsible for managing projects from planning through completion, coordinating subcontractors and team members, ensuring compliance with all building codes and safety regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: Project Management:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities from inception to completion.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to management.
• Identify and proactively resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

Team Leadership:

• Lead, manage, and oversee construction teams ensuring efficient and effective work practices.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, providing clear instructions and expectations.
• Conduct site meetings to coordinate activities, discuss progress, and address any concerns weekly or as needed.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and high morale.

Quality Control:

• Enforce quality standards through regular inspections and oversight of work performed.
• Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise execution.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Safety Management:

• Implement and enforce all safety protocols and procedures on the job site.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training to educate team members on best practices and compliance requirements.
• Ensure all OSHA and state-level safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site to minimize hazards and promote safety.

Administrative Duties:

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation as needed.

Qualifications: Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in construction management or related fields a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential construction.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a foreman, supervisory, or lead role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and completing residential construction projects.

Skills and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge of residential construction processes, best practices, and building codes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.
• Physical ability to perform construction duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and; willingness to travel between job sites as needed.
• Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet project deadlines and business needs.
