Registration Coordinator

At Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, we are focused on delivering quality patient care. Our Registration Department is currently seeking a full time Registration Coordinator to deliver care that is second-to-none, in our high volume-fast paced practice.
Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate weekly and daily staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all clinics
- Handel all staff call-ins and adjust schedules accordingly
- Reassign staff to different clinic locations to address staffing shortages as needed
- Perform patient registration duties
- Assist with lead audit reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy in registration processes.
- Collaborate with the registration Supervisor to ensure all reports are current and accurate.
- Review employee time clocks for accuracy and compliance.
- Review and process PTO requests and maintain registration time-off calendars.
- Conduct training for both new hires and existing staff as needed.
- Provide corrective coaching and retraining to address performance issues.
- Oversee and complete new hire onboarding checklists.
Qualifications:
- Experience in front desk reception and/or patient registration within a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience coordinating and managing employee schedules preferred.
- Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
- Strong Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
