Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking one part time (32 hours per week) or one full time (40 hours per week) Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), LPN or RN. This position will support physicians in our Pediatric practice. 

 

Duties include but not limited to:

• Prepare patients for exams
• Assist with procedures
• Prepare and administer immunizations
• Follow up on and record test results
• Patient education
• Complete prior authorizations for treatment and diagnostic testing
• Screen calls for physicians and answer patient questions.

 

Requirements:

• Current CMA certification, LPN license or RN license required. 
• CPR certification required or must become certified within 60 days of employment.
• The successful candidate must maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times. 
• The qualified individual will be patient focused, possess excellent communication skills and must work well with team members.
• Must also have a high level of comfort in working with and become proficient in computer systems.
