GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, this position will be the first point of contact for the office and various day-to-day office tasks. Your responsibilities will include answering phones, greeting guests, interacting with college personnel, and utilizing a Microsoft Office Suite to complete special projects. You will also help plan and organize department specific events.
The office is open from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The student's schedule will depend on their availability during the office's operating hours.Employment would begin the week of September 1, 2025, depending on the selected intern’s schedule.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Greet students, parents, college personnel, and community members who visit the office.
- Answering phones and providing frontline support for the office.
- Utilizing strong computer skills; knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Creating flyers and promotional materials for the department. Knowledge of social media platforms is a plus.
- Perform other related work duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:

The position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) standing, pushing, pulling and grasping. Frequent (34-66%) reaching and viewing a computer and other types of close visual work. Constant (67-100%) sitting, walking, repetitive motion, talking, and hearing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Proficiency in various office and spreadsheet software including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to learn other software programs.
