Corridor Energy Cooperative is currently seeking a Mechanic at our North Liberty Operation Center (835 W. 240th Street, North Liberty, Iowa 52317)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains all vehicles, generating units and other mechanical equipment by performing regular, preventative maintenance and service in accordance with operating manuals.
  • Conducts all inspections to remain in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Assures vehicle maintenance history is complete and up to date.
  • Performs minor fender and body repairs and welding jobs as necessary.
  • Other related duties as assigned 

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from 2 year college or technical school in a directly related field or 4-year related experience
  • Class A CDL

Must also possess the following knowledge and experience:

  • Must be able to diagnose and repair equipment and vehicles
  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment, such as forklift and man lift
  • Knowledge of electronics and hydraulics and diesel and gasoline engines

Starting wage range: $30.00-$37.50
