Part-Time Medical Assistant

We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion for patient care.  Shifts are 8:45 – 12:30 TWTH, 12:30 – 2:00 Tuesdays and an optional Monday evening 6:00 – 9:00 shift.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Duties:
  • Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate)
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician
  • Perform phlebotomy (blood draws)
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Assist with minor clinical procedures as directed
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Administrative Duties:
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred
• Experience in phlebotomy required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong proficiency in both English and one other language,(Spanish, Arabic, French) preferred but not required.
